Unfortunately due to the timing of the game, I ended up missing the match against Rubin Kazan entirely (11am in the UK).
I did however manage to view the progress surreptitiously by using the live matchday viewer from UEFA.com so I could see the progress of the game every few minutes.
We managed to win the game with a shot taken from within the area by David Fuster and even though Balasz Megyeri was dismissed with a straight red soon afterwards, Roy Carroll saved the resulting penalty.
The win gives us the advantage in the tie (with the away goal rule) and now we have to finish the job in Karaiskaki in a couple of weeks time.
